LAC, Brainspotting, CSAT candidate, EMDR
In 2011, I graduated from seminary then worked as a youth pastor for five years. From my vantage point as a pastor, I saw the need for quality professional therapy and decided to pursue a career in counseling. When you walk through the therapist’s door, you expect to be given the tools you need to accomplish this change. Good therapy is more than “What do you want to talk about today?” It’s more than just talk therapy. You need to work with a therapist who has the right tools to dig deep and do some heavy lifting, and that is what I offer.
My specialized training includes Certified Sex Addiction Therapist candidate, Brainspotting, EMDR, Family Systems Trauma (FST), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to treat trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I have experience working with children as young as 11 years old, adolescents, and adults for trauma healing, parent-child relationships, attachment, and anxiety.
Therapy should involve every aspect of your being--mental, physical, and spiritual, and by integrating these therapy approaches, I can help you find hope and healing. You have the capacity for positive change. My job is to help guide you towards discovery, transformation, and healing that will result in the change you want and need.
