A Word From Kylie

“I so enjoyed working with Kylie! She did excellent trauma work, parts work, and was very patient with me when I needed it. As a therapist myself, I get quality therapy. Thanks you so much for the guidance in getting me set up with her!” – Sara, age 34

Hi. I’m Kylie. When someone comes into my office, they are seeking change. Maybe you’re stuck in an ongoing trauma response that you just can’t shake. Maybe those you love the most have hurt you or you’ve hurt them. Perhaps you know logically how you’d like to interact with healthy sexuality or relationships, but your reality is far from that.

My trainings in EMDR and Brainspotting assist in helping clients discover the roots of traumas.

I’m also trained to work with clients wrestling with pornography addiction and unwanted sexual behaviors with advanced training as an Associate Sex Addiction Therapist (ASAT) candidate. My goal is to help clients understand their history and triggers so they can define healthy sexuality for themselves. I am also qualified to work with partners experiencing betrayal trauma with my training as an Associate Partner Trauma Therapist (APTT). Treating an intimately-betrayed partner is very important and delicate work, and I approach it from a place of compassion.

I also love working with teenagers, young adults, couples, and families. In my former job, I worked at a treatment center for males aged 14 to 26 and their families. I highly value working with teens and their parents to create healthy relationships and home life for all. When working with my clients, I draw from multiple therapeutic styles including systemic approaches, polyvagal theory, attachment-based theories, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral theory.
